All SciELO journals should manage and operate the evaluation of manuscripts with the support of an online management system certified by SciELO, in order to maximize the efficiency and transparency of the evaluation process, minimize the time between submission and final decision, allow the parties involved to follow the evaluation process and have registries and statistics to control the flow of manuscript management.
